Paramount
to a successful educational institution is
an outstanding faculty. Educators must not
only be experts in their fields but must possess
the enthusiasm and vision to enliven their
lessons and to make their subject matter relevant
and compelling to their students. They must
also value their interactions with students,
respecting students as key members of the learning
community.
We
are committed to assembling such a superior
group of educators. Our faculty has excellent
academic credentials, valuable classroom experience,
and the passion for education that fosters
critical thinking and creativity. Our educators
are also committed to and serve as models of
the ethical framework that is a fundamental
component of Jewish education and tradition.
As
master teachers, our faculty build connections
among disciplines. They teach with a dual vision:
their lessons illuminate their own subject
matter with an eye toward the entire curriculum.

Founding
Rabbinic Advisory Board
Recognizing
the continuing need for sophisticated and
Jewishly knowledgeable students, Rabbis
of several Reform and Conservative synagogues
agreed to collaborate in developing an
independent Jewish community high school.
After initiating this exciting joint venture,
the Rabbis invited lay leaders to assist
in bringing this idea to reality. It is
the expectation and philosophy of the Rabbinic
Advisory Board that the School be attractive
and attainable to all Jewish youth irrespective
of Jewish knowledge and background. These
Rabbis advise the School on matters of
Jewish ritual, practice, law, and observance
and are a consulting voice on the School’s
curriculum.
