Student Life

As any of our students will tell you, their days at The Shoshana S. Cardin School are anything but boring! Outside of the classroom, a rich and diverse program of extracurricular activties engages them in terms of their faith, academic interests and goals, and just plain fun.

Besides our growing athletics program, students also can choose from a wide range of student clubs and electives, including Film Studies, Robotics, Israeli Culture, and the Student Government. Additional learning opportunities are made available during Cardin's annual Interim Week and Independent Senior Experience (ISE).

Special annual programming includes travel, field trips, holiday celebrations, community service projects and Shabbatonim, as well a major theater production, where students can demonstrate their dramatic talents and skills in dance, choreography, set design, technical work, and backstage management. Cardin also participates in national and international student activities through our association with various schools and organizations throughout the world.

Finally, to give our students the best advantage in their academic careers, Cardin offers a comprehensive College Counseling program that includes extensive attention to a student’s college application process and testing preparation.
