Message from the Head of School

Welcome to The Shoshana S. Cardin School website. By exploring this site, you have the opportunity to glimpse what makes the Cardin School different from the average Jewish high school. Whether participating in Moot Beit Din, walking in the footsteps of Heschel and King with students from Western High School, acting in The Wizard of Oz with students from area schools, or learning with our superior faculty, Cardin offers students opportunities unique to the Baltimore community.

As a pluralistic Jewish high school, our students come from diverse religious, educational, and cultural backgrounds with one overarching commonality – the desire to grow as learners and members of the Jewish community. Our graduates are experiencing success in college and are actively involved with Hillel, utilizing all aspects of their Cardin education.

The faculty also represents diverse religious backgrounds yet we come together to learn Jewish texts, with the students and without, modeling for our students our desire to be lifelong learners.
