Mathematics

Cardin’s mathematics program focuses on the mastery and application of mathematical skills, as well as on the acquisition of conceptual understanding. Courses encourage students to:

think critically
apply mathematical principles to investigate problems
draw conclusions

We offer two sequences to accommodate students’ background abilities and to give students the opportunity to complete college-level courses that meet their individual needs and interests. As their skill level and confidence increases, students are encouraged to move from the standard to the honors–level courses.
