Annual Fund
What is the The Shoshana S. Cardin School Annual Fund?
The Shoshana S. Cardin School’s Annual Fund is a twelve month campaign beginning July 1 and ending June 30 of each fiscal year. The main goal of the campaign is to provide essential operating funds to ensure an outstanding education for our students. The strength of the Annual Fund is paramount in enabling us to meet annual expenses and offer financial scholarships. Annual Fund gifts allow us to recruit exceptional faculty and sustain an enriching array of academic, visual and performing arts, athletic, and co-curricular programs.
Why is the Annual Fund important for the Cardin School?
- Annual Fund gifts allow us to recruit exceptional faculty and sustain an enriching array of academic, visual and performing arts, athletic, and co-curricular programs.
- As with most independent schools, the Annual Fund helps to make up the difference between tuition income and actual costs. In fact, the tuition currently accounts for only 38% of the Cardin School operating budget.
- Annual Fund gifts go directly to the operating budget to benefit our students. The results are immediate and dramatic.
