Advisory Program

The ongoing success of the Advisory Program is based on a single premise—that each Cardin student should be expertly known by at least one adult at the School. An advisor serves as his or her student’s advocate, academic counselor, and facilitator, effectively communicating with teachers and parents on academic performance. The program also ensures that our faculty remains actively engaged in the lives of our students.

This program crafts trusting relationships between faculty and students, bringing a rich and rewarding dimension to the high school experience of all Cardin students. Through one-to-one and group meetings, advisees engage in meaningful activities and participate in honest conversations intended to develop their character and increase their sense of connection to the Cardin community
